Twitter unveils new Doge Logo & other Social Media Updates

Social media is like a chameleon that constantly changes its colors and morphs itself to match the latest trends. In the world of social media, there is never a dull moment, whether it is the introduction of Twitter’s new logo or the evolution of emojis.

With new updates and changes happening every week, it can be hard to keep up with the ever-evolving landscape of social media. But fear not, we’ve got you covered with the latest updates and trends to keep you in the loop!

Elon Musk switches the Iconic Twitter Bird Icon to a Doge Icon

Twitter’s blue bird has now been replaced by the Shiba Inu dog meme, which is also the logo of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency. Musk has acknowledged the switch from Blue Bird to Doge on his Twitter page. The Twitter CEO tweeted a meme of a police officer questioning paperwork, while Doge claims that the picture in the document is an old photograph.

Elon Musk has publicly expressed his support for the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, which has a dog as its logo. As a result of this, according to data from coinmarketcap, the price of the meme cryptocurrency has increased by nearly 30% in the last 24 hours.

The mega-festival will span three days next month (April 14–16) and will be aired live to all YouTube users worldwide, including performances by Gorillaz, BLACKPINK, Deadmau5, and more.

Facebook is removing the “Code Generator” authentication element

Meta is removing its Facebook Code Generator element, which allowed users to log in on a different device by getting a code from their phone to authenticate their second session. As you can see in this tweet from social media expert Matt Navarra, Facebook is now warning users that this will soon be discontinued and that they should switch to another form of two-factor authentication.

So, you might need to update your settings if you occasionally find yourself logging in on Facebook from another app or website. While at the same time, users can also utilize free programs like Google Authenticator and security keys.

In conclusion, the world of social media is dynamic and ever-evolving. Social media platforms will continue to adapt and roll out new services as technology develops and consumers’ requirements change. To remain relevant and active in the digital world, it is important for both individuals and businesses to keep up with these changes.

So, keep checking us back for the most recent social media updates and keep seeing how social media is constantly changing!
