Netflix held its first-ever global fan event on September 25, 2021, TUDUM! Named after the first beat that one hears during any Netflix show or movie, the inspiration behind it was the first fan event of Netflix that took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2020. From exclusive first looks, breaking news, clips, and trailers from over a hundred upcoming shows, films, and series to surprise appearances of the creators and stars, Netflix’s three-hour virtual event gained a never-seen-before fandom that was literally jam-packed.
Check out Netflix’s TUDUM here:
TUDUM featured over 70 films and series which included some of Netflix’s most popular returning seasons like ‘Stranger Things’, ‘Bridgerton’, ‘The Witcher’, ‘Money Heist’, ‘Cobra Kai’, as well as blockbuster films like ‘Red Notice’, ‘Don’t Look Up’, ‘Extraction’, ‘The Harder They Fall’, ‘The Old Guard’ and more.
Before the starting of the event, Netflix Asia wrapped up three exciting TUDUM Spotlights consisting of “anime and K-content to the latest and greatest in Indian series and films”, states Netflix Newsroom. Not only that, over 145 stars such as Dwayne Johnson, Radhika Apte, etc made their appearance in the event.
