According to the Snapchat Newsroom, in honor of the scary season, Snapchat has revealed new Bitmoji and Halloween Lenses features as well as some new exclusives for Snapchat+ subscribers.
First off, Snap has included a number of new Halloween-themed lenses, including Rune Room, which stamps runes across your walls, and Spooky Pet, which may turn your pet into a ghostly apparition. This could help to bring a seasonal flavor to your Snaps.

“Are you ready to unleash your spooky side this Halloween? To help Snapchatters get in the ghostly spirit, we’re brewing up Halloween-themed Lenses and Bitmoji features, bringing back the beloved haunted theme Snap Map on October 31, and for Snapchat+ members only, granting access to brand new spine-chilling exclusive profile backgrounds.
Add a creepy mood to your home with Rune Room, which lets you stamp runes – or mysterious, ancient lettering – on any surface. Or, whether you’re a cat or dog person, transform your furry friend into a ghost with the help of Spooky Pet.”
There is a wide variety of Halloween Lenses to discover, as you can see in the video, and they will undoubtedly be in demand throughout the event.
Additionally, Snap has added five new Bitmoji outfits, including a superhero, a cheerleader, an aerobics instructor from the 1980s, a cat burglar, and a devil catsuit.
Finally, Snapchat has added a few more profile background choices for Snapchat+ subscribers, giving them an exclusive.
