Instagram introduced Paid Partnership label for creators to retain transparency within the community, per Instagram Policies. It makes publishing branded content easy which is a great help to creators ‘cause paid partnerships are one of the straightforward monetizing ways. For better understanding, Instagram’s @Creators shared a post regarding it.
Let’s see what’s highlighted in it:
“As a creator, brands may offer you gifts or monetary compensation in exchange for promotional posts. The Paid Partnership label was designed to help you disclose your promotional content, encourage transparency within the community, and help creators comply with Instagram Policies.”
“The label can be used on Live, Reels, IGTV, Feed, and Stories.”
“If you find you are not eligible, you can request another account review in-app: account settings > creator or business > (depending on your account type) > branded content.”
“If the brand has not yet given tagging approval, you can still publish your branded content by tapping ‘Add Brand Partners’ > ‘Add’ (this will send a notification to the brand).
When your post is live, the ‘Paid Partnership’ label will appear at the top and the brand’s name will appear at the top and the brand’s name will appear once the brand approves.
If you’re partnering with a brand without a business profile, you can still use the Paid Partnership label by following the previous steps. When ready to publish, tap ‘Share’ > ‘Share Anyway’.”
Also, branded content isn’t different from any other Instagram posts. If you want to know more about the branded content tool, then check out Instagram Updated Branded Content Tool.
