Zee5 announced its upcoming partnership with The Viral Fever (TVF) on June 14, 2021, through Instagram. Before the revelation, TVF already gave a hint about their upcoming collaboration on Instagram stating, “Tune in to ZEE5 or log on to @zee5shows on Facebook and Twitter at 1 PM today🍺”
In total five upcoming shows will be streaming exclusively on Zee5. They are ‘Pitchers’ season 2, ‘Tripling’ season 3, ‘Humorously Yours’ season 3, ‘Engineering Girls’ season 2, and ‘The Aam Aadmi Family’ season 4. Zee5 was too excited with this partnership and exclaimed, “Aapne itni shiddat se chaha, toh aap se milana toh hamara kaam tha hi na!”
For this, Zee5 conducted a webinar event with the cast of TVF shows to announce the association with a fun conversation hosted by RJ Rohini. Naveen Kasturia and Abhishek Banerjee from ‘Pitchers’, Maanvi Gagroo from ‘Tripling’, and Vipul Goyal from ‘Humorously Yours’ were a part of it and they spoke about their first shows with TVF.
This whole partnership will definitely boost both the OTT platform’s reach, as Maanvi said “it’s a revamping of the content image” of both the parties and eventually we’ll see something really cool coming out of it. All the original shows from TVF will be showcased on Zee5 as a part of its unlimited happy hours, which by the way is free!
Fans are totally looking forward to the release of their favourite shows. Even Rohini addressed the collaboration as “Avengers Assemble” and “two fabulous content universes coming together.”
