Salman Khan starrer Radhe Movie results the Hashtag, ‘#BoycottRadhe’ to Trend on Twitter

Radhe Movie: Your Most Wanted Bhai was an awaited film for Salman Khan fans and was launched in movie theatres and on OTT sites on 13th May 2021. With Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda, the movie stars Salman in the lead. While the trailer and music of the film received an overwhelming response, mixed reviews were received from audiences that saw the film itself.

Moreover, Radhe Movie dropped off with a 2.0 IMDb rating out of 10 as a supposed rework of ‘The Outlaws’, Korean film. It is therefore the second-worst Salman Khan film with Race 3 in the lead. The first day of the release saw the limelight, although, the second day made a 360 turn around. The viewers of the film have disliked it to the point that the hashtag, ‘#BoycottRadhe’ trends on Twitter. Although some see the hashtag used to denote religious sentiments, other people boycott Salman Khan in the Bollywood era of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Apart from the hashtag, film reviewer, Anupama Chopra has termed the movie as, “Another loud, numbing, pointless paean to the cult of #SalmanKhan.”.

While Salman Khan’s fans may take anything in the name of entertainment, others have demonstrated a clear dislike of the movie. Another twist to this trending hashtag has also been significant in the meme world.
