Priya Saraiya and Jigardan Gadhavi released a new song ‘Navlakh’ on YouTube. Premiered on September 5, 2021, it reflects faith and hope. It’s about a child calling for his mother when he’s surrounded by darkness and can’t see the light. As stated on Priya’s YouTube channel, the song “is a Charaj in praise of mataji’s strength, beauty and how she helps us overcome all our problems in life.”

Priya is a playback singer, lyricist, and independent artist. Being fascinated with Gujarati Sahitya from childhood, Priya began her singing journey with ‘Dayro’. When she heard this song on Jigardan’s YouTube channel, instantly she felt connected with the vibe. It brought tears to her eyes and she decided to interpret the beautiful lyrics written by Shri Bharatdan Gadhavi in her own voice. The singer has 50.5K subscribers on YouTube and 126K followers on Instagram.
Jigardan Gadhavi a.k.a Jigrra, a wonderful human being and a true artist, dreams of presenting his rich musical heritage to the current generation in such a form that they enjoy listening to it. Conceptualised by Priya, the lyrics were penned down by Bharatdan Gadhavi. Behind the arrangement was Jay Mavani and the guitar was played by Kalyan Baruah. Eric Pillai mixed and mastered it at FSOB. The recording was done at Ajivasan Studio by Manasi Tare and at Studio even harmony, Ahmedabad by Pranav Yagnik. 32farvariproduction conceptualised and filmed the video.
