Released on June 18, 2021, Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Sherni’ is based on the conflict between man and nature, which ultimately results in the death of an unsettled tigress. Vidya Balan plays the character of Vidya Vincent, an upright forest officer who wanted to save the animal but got captured in the intense struggle of the hostile environment. While tackling the misogynistic attitude, she tries her best to perform her duty well. Already, the movie has received a rating of 7.2 IMDb. The trailer was released on June 2, 2021, and has gained over 20 million views and 122K likes.
